Our portfolio is developed through two main technologies: Biotech & Nature. The first one, Biotech, has been created by fine-tuning the standard fermentation process into SynBalance® probiotics and 2.0 Hyaluronans, representing the core of our widest innovation. An exhaustive selection of proprietary probiotic strains is manufactured to reach the highest potency for a various number of applications. Novelty in Hyaluronans goes through the invention of Full-spectrum, where the focus is not a specific molecular weight, but rather the efficacy of a range of fractions working in synergy, just as naturally happens in our body.
The second one, the Natural technology, includes soft methodologies whose first aim is Nature’s respect, followed by the recreation of Nature within active ingredients. SynBalance® KeepCalm: probiotic complex for stress relief (Bifidobacterium animalis spp. lactis BL050 – Lactobacillus reuteri PBS072, 4B CFU/day) and SynBalance® ProBeautyShield (Lactobacillus plantarum PBS067 – Lactobacillus rhamnosus LRH020 – Lactobacillus reuteri PBS072, 3B CFU/day) for skin rebalance.
Following an in-vitro screening on antimicrobial activity, self-production of B-group vitamins, anti-inflammatory properties as well as inhibition of epigenetic enzyme LSD1 and promotion of GABA secretion at neuronal level, together with enteric modulation of serotonin, a selection of the most performing strains for both applications has been determined. Preliminary clinically results demonstrated the capacity of SynBalance® ProBeautyShield probiotic complex to counteract atopic skin-related discomforts and to positively impact on the quality of life, already after the first month of intake, thus representing an interesting insight of probiotic influence on skin health. On the contrary, SynBalance KeepCalm study is still in progress and clinical results will be available in June 2019.
