The growing demand for erythritol has encouraged Jungbunzlauer to invest in additional capacity that consists of state-of-the art fermentation and purification equipment as well as a new packaging line. With the new capabilities coming on stream in 2021, we re-inforce our long-term commitment to support our customers in a growing market. At the same time, we strive to be the most reliable and sustainable manufacturer of products meeting the needs of our customers for high quality and short lead times. The additional capacity will result in products of the usual highest quality, with no impact on our specifications or certification status of our erythritol.
In line with our mission “From nature to ingredients®” and with our sustainability and responsibility values, Jungbunzlauer Marckolsheim produces ERYLITE® by fermentation of natural, non-GM carbohydrates by strictly non-GM microorganism strains. With the expansion, we will continue our efforts to optimise processes including the reduction of energy and water consumption. In addition, we will further improve production efficiency and minimise environmental emissions.
