The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is a vibrant community of nearly 6,000 individual members actively working in finished goods houses, raw material suppliers, academic institutions, government, contract manufacturing, consulting companies, and many other industry specialty areas.
Our History
Founded in 1945 with only twelve members, the SCC is now the oldest and largest individual membership organization serving the cosmetics and personal care industry. Dedicated to the advancement of cosmetic science, SCC headquarters provides unparalleled education and networking for its members globally and via a network of 19 affiliated chapters across North America.
