Rare sugars, polyols, polyphenols and vitamin purification are examples of Purolite resin expertise in the nutraceutical and healthcare industry.

Fucose is a rare sugar found in fucoidan polymers from brown algae. It is used in the composition of anticarcinogenic and anti-inflammatory drugs and in the preparation of creams as hydrating anti-aging additives. Chromalite CGC50 is used to fractionate fucose from galactose and glucose to obtain pure fucose. Also allulose or polyols can also be targeted with similar approach.
