London – Fish is healthy and tasty and increasingly popular. Today´s per capita consumption of fish amounts to 19 kg per year on a global average. Nine out of ten EU citizens think it is important to manage our seas responsibly and increasing numbers of consumers look for fish from sustainable sources when shopping. In countries like Germany or Switzerland 25 per cent of all consumers make a point of choosing seafood products with the blue MSC label.
