At the end of November Isochem organised a particularly interesting event close to Paris: the First Pharmaceutical Custom Manufacturing Congress, a gathering attended by a diversified group of CMC and sourcing consultants, technology managers, distributors and press representatives to describe a fully re-organised fine chemistry manufacturing company. Our readers might recall that Isochem was a company of the SNPE group. That was until the beginning of the new millennium, when the company began a progressive, radical transformation process, after a period of ups and downs and a number of difficulties. A process completed in 2010 when a German financial group - Aurelius, acquired Isochem and appointed Bjorn Schlosser as President and Xavier Jeanjean as Sales Director.
The Company at a glance
Isochem operates five production sites today, three of which are cGMP facilities and two are FDA-audited. Four are located in France, three in the Paris region. The company had sales of about 100 million euro in 2010. 2011 Preliminary Sales Results: 105 million euro. The company has arounf 500 employees worldwide.
