DKSH, the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, and NuTek Food Science have signed a distribution agreement for DKSH to import, distribute and promote NuTek Food Science’s specialized NuTek potassium salt for food manufacturing in Japan and Korea.

DKSH Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading Market Expansion Services provider and distributor of food ingredients, and NuTek Food Science, a provider of naturally-sourced potassium salt, have signed a distribution agreement for DKSH to import, distribute and promote NuTek Food Science’s specialized NuTek potassium salt in Japan and Korea.

NuTek Food Science’s specialized NuTek potassium salt is naturally sourced from ancient sea beds in North America and is used in the production of savory products including soups, seasoning, bakery and condiments. NuTek Food Science utilizes a salt replacement technology to reduce the sodium in salt while replacing it with potassium, a necessary and widely under-consumed nutrient.

Under the agreement, DKSH will import NuTek potassium salt into Japan and Korea through its regulatory experts on the ground, leverage its supply chain network to distribute it across the regions, whilst promoting it to DKSH’s extensive food manufacturing customer base in North Asia.
