Eric Isberg, director of Entegris’ life sciences business, has been elected to serve a two-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bio-Process Systems Alliance (BPSA). BPSA is the national trade association of the single-use bio-processing industry.
“I am very pleased to join the Board of Directors of this industry-leading association. I am a strong advocate of sharing best practices, collaborative problem-solving and identifying standards for the surging single-use segment in biopharmaceutical processing,” said Isberg. “I have been involved in the development of single-use technologies for many years. It is my passion and I am thrilled to have yet another opportunity to contribute.”
The Board of Directors of BPSA convenes four times per year, with adjunct business meetings on a monthly basis. BPSA currently has 55 corporate members whose mission is to accelerate adoption and develop guidelines for single-use manufacturing in the production of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. BPSA is headquartered in Washington, DC, and has represented the full value-chain of single-use interests since 2005.
“As BPSA’s membership base and budget continues to grow, and our influence and efficacy grows worldwide, the expertise of our Board members allows us to maintain our position as the ‘go to’ source of the single-use industry. We are pleased to have Mr. Isberg, along with several other new members, join our Board.” said BPSA Board Chairman John Boehm.
