Procos as a CDMO is specialized in the development, scale-up and production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s), High Potency Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (HPAPI’s), advanced intermediates and other related services for the pharmaceutical industry. Procos provides 360° support to your small molecule requirements from research to commercial supply. Our cGMP multipurpose plant is located in Northern Italy, approved by the main regulatory authorities including AIFA, FDA, and PMDA.
Our HPAPI unit is a fully integrated, dedicated to the development and manufacturing of highly active cytotoxic API with maximum containment level as low as 10 ng/m3. The unit includes R&D and QC Laboratories and two cGMP manufacturing lines, fully independent with dedicated warehousing and waste treatment. The R&D Lab is equipped with the most advanced technology for covering services from discovery (e.g. route scouting, sample preparation) to industrial (process development, safety assessment, QbD optimization). Additionally, we have a dedicated analytical development team working together with the researcher for the development and optimization of all the analytical methods to support the process definition.
The QC laboratory is fully equipped with all necessary instrumentation for cGMP release and method validation. The Kilolab is a defined in a multi-chamber isolator, perfect for a few grams to 1kg batch size. The special feature of this module allows all operations within the same isolator, increasing productivity and efficiency with a containment level as low as to 10 ng/m3. The Small Scale line has flexibility capable to manufacture from 5 kg to 15 kg batch size, with a containment level (OEL) as low as 1 μg/m3.
