A new tool to evaluate kids’ lifestyle

ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to test the efficacy of a method designed to follow nutritional and lifestyle conditions inchildren and their parents. A survey was carried out on 557 elementary students (aged 6-11) of Calderara di Reno (Italy).We analysed children body composition, dietary habits and lifestyle together with parent’s anthropometric parameters andlifestyle habits. Subdivision of subjects in weight classes. The influence of the body weight distributions of mother on childrenis highly significant. We concluded that this diary “7 day for my health” represents a good approach to reveal theincidence of obesity in children. ...
