On October the 15th, the ISO 37001 Standard, “Anti-Bribery Management Systems” was released, following the almost unanimously approval for its publication by the members of the relevant technical committee.
The regulation – a type A norm, thus certifiable - will become the only truly internationally-recognised parameter for implementing, managing and constantly improving anti-bribery systems.
The publication of the regulation also includes a user guide (Annex A) which will be of great help to organisations seeking to be compliant with the new norm.
Inspired by the British Standard BS 10500, the ISO 37001 will provide a reference framework for the adoption of those good practices that have already proven to be effective at national level.
