In June, Milano hosted the 15^th edition of the L’Oréal-Unesco “FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE” Research Awards. The awards stand as an acknowledgment of the role of women in the development of science in its various disciplines and also wish to constantly remind us all of the importance of acknowledging women’s rights and their value, besides showing them the due respect and appreciation all the time.
The 2017 edition awards have seen fellowships granted to five young scientists for their achievements in their healthcare research work.
