Get ready for Chemspec Europe 2016 in Basel
From 1 – 2 June 2016, the 31st edition of Chemspec Europe, International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals, will open its gates at Basel Messe, Switzerland.
The huge success of the previous event in Cologne illustrated once more the high demand for bespoke chemicals and innovative products. With 380 exhibitors and 5,768 visitors from 56 countries, the event was the largest Chemspec of all times. “In a time driven by innovation and shorter product life cycles, the choice of the right suppliers and the exchange within international industry networks play a major role. Due to its specialised exhibition profile, Chemspec Europe is a key event for buyers, traders and agents in search of innovative substances. Here, leading international manufacturers and distributors present a wide range of fine and speciality chemicals for diverse industrial sectors”, explains Nicola Hamann, Managing Director of the organiser, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
With Basel, an important manufacturing location for the fine and speciality chemical industry, the organiser chose a central marketplace amidst the tripoint of Germany, Switzerland and France.
Compared to the previous event, Chemspec Europe 2016 shows an increase in net exhibition space by 10 per cent. Half a year before the start of the exhibition, a total of 320 exhibitors from 22 countries have already booked their stand space at this year’s event. A regularly updated exhibitor list is available on the redesigned, bilingual exhibition website www.chemspeceurope.com
