Moreover, it has been an unique chance to get a picture of the whole Italian
We talked with Sara Valorz. Sara has over 11 years of experience working in the industry of personal and cosmetics, particularly in the ingredients’ sector. After working on successful international events such as: in-cosmetics Asia (PCIA) and in-cosmetics Europe she created Valorevents in 2009 and in 2012 has launched the first Formulating Cosmetics and Making Cosmetics in Milano in partnership with Step Exhibitions, about the event, its importance and its goals, and finally about the 2016 edition.
How do you consider the evolution of Formulating Cosmetics & Making Cosmetics in Milano in those three years?
Since its launch the event has been welcomed with great enthusiasm by all companies and partners involved. This event seems to fulfil a gap in the market and meet the demand of all professionals serious about cosmetics technologies with interests to meet once per year in Milano to discuss scientific progress, formulation techniques and manufacturing developments.
According to your experience in organising the event, how would you describe the Italian Cosmetic Industry state of art? What is the sentiment of the companies who attended to the expositions?
The “Made in Italy” brand is very strong in the world, hence its technology; it is not surprising that for 20 years, and still now, the value of exports of cosmetics exceeds the value of import - the Italian cosmetics is especially demanded in Europe, with France at the top as importer.
The Italian cosmetic industry has hardly been affected by the “crisi” and our exhibitors’ eagerness to support Formulating Cosmetics and Making Cosmetics proves the strength of this market sector.
What are the strengths of the Formulating Cosmetics & Making Cosmetics you consider the most peculiar?
Formulating Cosmetics & Making Cosmetics only objective is of promoting cosmetic science, listening and delivering according to the professional voices and desires of those working in it.
The next edition will be host in a different location: why did you take this decision and what should both exhibitors and visitors expect from the new accommodation?
Exhibitors and visitors alike will profit from a number of key benefits moving to MiCo (www.micomilano.it):
- Exhibition area, conference rooms, meeting rooms and catering all on one floor
- One main visitors entrance at front of the venue
- An ample seating & networking area
- Inclusion of workshop and seminars within the exhibition
- Easier vehicle access for build-up and breakdown
We look forward to welcome you all this November 22-23 for two days packed with scientific content and “Italian fineness” networking opportunities.
