Isochem is striving today to transform the positive trends from the global fine chemicals markets – especially on pharma – into sustainable growth by focusing its business model on the needs of these markets.

Since some time Isochem is observing at several of its customers the desire to bring significant parts of their needs – especially APIs and advanced intermediates – back from Asia to European suppliers. This seems to be the answer to several ruptures in the supply chain – especially from China – due to regulatory problems. In the end such ruptures cause a damage which is much higher than a saving estimated today around 10 to 15% which is achievable by a low cost sourcing.
