Abstract

Consumers perspective: a new column starting this year which would like to combine insights from behavioural economics and economic psychology in the area of consumer and household decision making and why not advices on daily household and personal care issues. 
The first one of this series deals with Laundering problems and solutions.

The majority of laundering questions that arise today have to do with poor cleaning results, poor soil and stain removal, residues of lint and scum, and fabric damage. Here are a few typical problems with causes and treatments most likely to solve them. Ways to prevent problems from occuring are also given.
