Abstract
Corporate environmental management (CEM)tools and approaches are practical instruments fororganizations to manage their sustainability issues. By usingCEM tools, both public and private organizations cancontribute to sustainable production and consumption.Sustainable use of laundry detergents can be enhancedand promoted by applying appropriate tools, which mayalso support the development of shared responsibilitybetween consumers and producers. Tools include e.g. lifecycle assessment (LCA), eco-labels, green supply chainmanagement and industry code of conduct.
