People around the world are eating more fruit and vegetables as they are adopting more healthy and activeon-the-run lifestyles. Fresh fruits and fruit/pectin-based foods are always good to eat but can be hard to remove whenthey stain clothes. Detergents are not always equipped to deal well with these stubborn stains and bleach only masksthem. To really remove fruit stains, Novozymes is launching a new detergent enzyme category, a pectin-degradingenzyme, XPect® that actually removes fruit- and pectin-based stains, making clothes really clean.
