This is a little bit of an unusual Behind the Label, as, unlikely the norm, I will actually start my review with some comments.
I came across this Brand a little while ago while flying from Budapest Airport: they have a nice shop called “Memories of Hungary” where one can buy all-things-Hungarian, including amazing food & booze as well as locally made cosmetic products.
Airport duty-frees are heaven for cosmetic formulation chemists: one gets to try and smell pretty much anything and there is always an opportunity to discover new products.
However, my attention was caught by a little thing on the bottom of the packaging: probably one of the shortest Ingredient Lists I have seen in recent times.
Literally a handful of ingredients: Aqua, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyhexylglycerin and Illite.
That’s it.
Interesting, but it sparked many questions.
