Small Molecules Approved by the FDA in 2022

In 2022 FDA approved 37 new drugs for the treatment of various diseases, including small, medium, and biological molecules. Some of these drugs or the combination between one or two molecules have never been used in clinical practice, including NME (New Molecular Entities) and NCE (New Chemical Entities). Others are the same as, or related to, previously approved drugs, and they will compete in the market. The infographic below shows the small molecules approved in 2022 and in the next issues we will cover the approved drugs for 2023.
