What a morning shower can reveal

I was standing under the shower when I realized my sympathy for Hamburg. Just a minute ago I had finished a run with my colleagues on a cold and rainy morning in this lively city.
We started at the so-called “Landungsbrücken”, close to the famous fish market, near the banks of the river Elbe, with its ships and tugs, with barges and container giants. We continued our jogging path along several blocks and ran via the “Davidstraße” to the famous “Reeperbahn” in the St. Pauli quarter.
The Beatles started their career here, 50 years ago, as an unknown band playing their first songs in some of St. Pauli’s clubs and bars. That day, we could only see workers removing the “remainings” and garbage of the past hours. The nightlife of Hamburg is as diverse as the city itself: Music clubs, theaters, musicals and artists make Hamburg a vibrant and lovely city for all kind of virtues. The city has many green areas as well: After making some turns, we ran through a public park with large trees, ponds with swans and very good jogging paths, passing many other runners and people doing sports in the morning.
