With more than 30 years of experience focused on research and development in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Paolo Paissoni, is passionate about innovation and cooperation in drug substance development, as it sets the pathway for successful clinicals and commercialization. Paolo received a Master degree in Chemistry from Turin University in 1984, where he graduated cum laude. For the duration of his career, Paolo has demonstrated strengths in assuring continuous technical innovations and contributed to the success of new products (NCEs) and optimized processes. He has published several patents and articles, with a dedicated focus in anticancer small molecule development and last but not least he has a strong expertise in chromatography. Paolo has held positions at esteemed companies including Farmitalia Carlo Erba, then Antibioticos S.p.A., becoming Head of R&D for Extraction and Chemistry for 16 years, then joining Procos S.p.A. in 2006, as the Head of R&D and Business Development.  Moreover, Paolo is currently serving as an active Board Member of CBC-Procos S.p.A since 2009.
