Zurko Research has started the year with the opening of new facilities in Madrid, Spain. In total, there are more than 18,000 ft2 of usable space divided into three floors including office areas, laboratory for clinical trials and several multifunctional rooms.

The main novelty is the large size of the new in vivo laboratory, which has doubled in comparison to the previous one. The laboratory area now has two separate waiting rooms and specialized areas for safety, efficacy and solar studies.

The new design makes it possible to maintain a safe distance for all panelists participating in the studies while allowing several tests with independent schedules to be carried out at the same time in the same room. Each laboratory has specific equipment for each test, such as a room with 4 bathtubs to test the water resistance of cosmetic products or a sauna for sweat resistance related studies.
